Who would have thought there was any room for emotion in the traditional premiums-and-claims world of insurance? There probably isn't. Which is why we worked with Promina to change how they expressed themselves in their second annual report. We saw in Promina a Group that was determined not to be just another insurance player. The Annual Report reflected their resolve to act in the interests of their customers – which is very much the way their Group business model is structured. It was a brave move, but one that has provided strong returns. Customers, shareholders and staff loved the human approach, that mixed concern for people with commitment to profit, and the Report itself won Best General Insurance Annual Report in the World in the prestigious ARC awards in New York.
